2-Stroke oil lifespan

does 2-stoke oil have a lifespan that you should worry about? I have 2-3 gallons AMSOIL leftover from about 2 years ago when I ordered like 4 cases of it.... needless to say my order lasted longer than I thought it would... I used it last year and it still seemed to work fine... does oil go bad after a while? dont see why it would, but figured I'd ask anyways in case someone knows something I dont.

I hope not, my uncle bought a 55 gallon drum of yamalube years ago for his boat since then he sold his boat and split the remaining oil between me and my brother 10 gallons each. I have had mine for years.

oil doesn't go bad like gas. it has a very long "shelf life". you will be fine.

I used more that you think .. I mixed up a couple 5 gallon cans for other people to use..LOL I still have 8 out of the 10 gallons of race fuel that I took with me to Georgia... I guess I will be using that $7 a gallon in the lawnmower.
