1999 seadoo bombardier Xp battery cable replacement

Hi, I’ve been having some trouble with my seadoo, It makes a 1 clunk noise when I try start it and then it starts making a crackling, burning noise down near the starter motor and I can see a little bit of smoke coming up from that area, I’m fairly certain it’s due to my positive battery cable ( the one that goes from the starter to the solenoid) being faulty or rotten, ive had a look around for spare ones but they are few and far, also they’re ridiculously expensive for used parts and I don’t want to buy another faulty one with the same problem, so my question is can I just use an aftermarket battery cable that is similar to the one on my ski, or does it have to be an exact replica. Also if anyone does have the exact working part I’m looking for and is willing to sell it, I’d appreciate that. Cheers guys

From what I remember those have the plastic connection for the grey elect box made onto them meaning a regular one won't work, I should have one of these laying around , 951 engine in that ski correct. I have tons of spare Seadoo parts.
