Hi, I'm 14 and bought a 1989 kawasaki 550 about a month ago, I've had it out 3 times, the first time I had it out it was running good and starting good, then I fell and the engine shut off and I couldnt get it started...I took it in and messed with the low and high carb adgustments and it got started again..then it was running good and starting back up after I'd fall. Then it wouldnt start again, I sat there about 5 minutes for it to cool down and then it started again, at which point I went back to the boat launch. The same thing happened the second time I took it out..the process happened a few times, but then i fell and it died and wouldn't start at all, even after adgusting the high and low tunings or waiting for it to cool down. Luckily my dad had another small boat out and he towed me in. the same thing happened a third time last weekend. Any ideas on what might be wrong?
