300/440/550 1987 kawasaki 550 starts than wont restart

hows it going guys i have this ski that will run than wont start i took the fuel lines off by unscrewing them from tank until fuel filter was emtied than ski started didnt weanna run to long cause ski could lean out due to lack of fuel but the ski does have an aftermarket glass fuel filter dont know if thats an issue or i have seen prior posts about this rev box controler thing whick im assuming is seperate from the black box so the conclusion i have came to is obviousley the ski is flooding
