Super Jet 12.7oz s glass...tray thickness

So I'm using 12.7oz S glass (With saline finish) for my tray. Foamed my sn with 4lb foam, shaved it to shape and glassing over. I was planning on 6 layers all around. Just flat water chasing boat wakes, I'm 225lbs. Is 6 layers good I should I do say 8?

I think 6 would be enough if you arent going to compress the layup.

ok cool i did 8 to be safe where i stand, 6 on the gunwales. no compressing just hand layup.
