Super Jet 08+ tubbies?

Who has a set of tubbies on an 08+ SJ??

What kind? What do you think of them? pro's and cons? worth it? difference when freeriding? etc etc??

Would love to hear your experiences, mainly with regard to surf/freeriding

I bought a set of Blowsion Tubby Destroyers for my '08 hull based on feedback from some riders on the X. Look at Ross Champion's old ski (the one he's selling now)... it's what he was running, and was killing it in the surf.

I haven't ridden the new hull yet, I'm still patching my '98 until it's broken in half. I do have tubbies on my '98 and love them. helps to keep the nose up a bit when surf slashing.

that's exactly what i'm trying to figure out... whether it's worth it or not. from what i can figure, it will eliminate the nose dive feeling when going down the face of a wave, and make it carve the face a bit better, but that's all in theory. i need to hear presonal experience

Its not so much the cut but to help keep the nose up during steep drops and slashes....and will cut even harder! I have heard it makes a huge differance in the surf sooooo.....I just ordered a set last week and will let you know how it goes. My 08 already keeps the nose up pretty well on cuts and drops so I cant wait to give the destroyers a try.
