08 sj hull with a pre 08 pump

if i want to run a pre 08 pump on a 08 superjet hull do i just need the newer longer drive shaft or is the pump different too?

oh yes the nozzle is different : )

they use a 62t nozzle now instead of the 61x nozzle

but that only if you are running a 08 cable and 08 trim system right?

no it has nothing to do with anything reguarding the pump. they just used it becasue it gave like a 3-5* up sweep of the nozzle lifting the nose.
i sold mine but now i want it back to help lift my nose up becuase of the increased nose pressure of my fixed steering.
