0% handle-bars...

Just purchased a set of "0 degree" handle-bars from Blowsion for 04 Superjet. They are 28 inch wide , stock is 24. What is the preferred width for these bars.? Thanks.

I had a pair of zero degree blowsion bars and loved them. I prefer wider bars for more leverage but to each his own.

try them as is and if they feel to wide cut them down an inch every ride til you like them. its all personal preference

I cut 7/8" off each end of my Blowsion 0 degree bars. I used a pipe cutter for mountain bike bars to do so. I'm 5' 10" average/muscular build. It's all personal preference.

I feel like I light my bars about the same width or a little narrower than my shoulder.

Before you cut them, go to the gym. Do the bench press at different widths being sure to bar to chest. The spot you are comfortable on the press is probably similar to how you will when your bars on your boat.

Same applies to squats and tray width.
