Thanks Marc, but tge hoses are located at the very front of the boat. I might try to fit another hose if trying another hood solves the issue.

Ya that was the first thing that I check for was exhaust leaks. It runs fine, not as good with the hood off, but as soon as the ski goes under water momentarily, it then starts to choke. The air vents on the hood are pretty small so I was just wondering if I'm on the right track with what I'm...
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or heard of the xft hood not letting in enough air for the motor to breath? My ski runs amazing with the hood off, but not as good with it on. It bogs and seems to be loading up.
