Most of the paint flaked off my 1999 RN hood. I and chipping the rest of with a razor blade. The SMC surface underneath is really smooth, like not prepped at all. So what is the best way to prep a stock RN hood for paint? Just sand it (what grit?)? Or is there a chemical prep that needs to be...
TBM sucks. Their flywheels break and they claim it has never happened before. They released their special rev 2 version that was supposed to be compatible with the Advent. Well it wasn't and they did not stand behind their product.

Shoot the moderator MR20turbo on 502streetscene a PM for me. Tell him to PM ATSAaron on MR2oc.com and I'll set the record straight for him on this crazy chick selling that ski. I don't know his user name on mr2oc.com or MR2com but I'll bet he's a member.

I rode it (the stock one). I loved it. I want it. The rumor i heard is they make 15 a month and there are currently orders for 70. So if you want it this season then you'd better hurry.

We've had similar issues with wake boarders in our cove. I make it a point to introduce our crew to the regulars. Depending on conditions we usually manage to split the cove. If they are cool sometimes they will make a wake for us while they are adjusting their fat sacks or wedge. Once they...
The low speed screw hole is "open" even when the throttle isn't. I like to run my ski 1.5 or 2 turns out on the low speed screw for easier starting especially when cold.

Just before she went down for her winter sleep Hoang built be a custom 4.5 gallon aluminum fuel tank. There are other custom tanks on this site with cleaner looking welds, but they are made with thicker material. This tank is lighter than the stock plastic one.

Last week was snowy. Christin let me drag the Rickter into the kitchen to install the freshly rebuilt (thanks Brian Vergin) DASA motor.
I got a new set of ported and trenched cases from Thrust.
Fresh 90mm pistons from Wiseco, modified by DASA.
The displacement is now 967cc.

You know how the footholds look really adjustable, but the plates runs out of adjustment before the foothold part hits the hull?
Well I don't know if I am an idiot or a genius, but I found out that if you flip the billet foothold plates over then you can slide the footholds nearly 2" further...
That's part of the issue. With this low pitched freestyle prop I'm pretty sure I can hit the rev limiter. Plus hanging on to a 967cc Rickter at top speed isn't exactly easy.
Is there a rule of thumb for X amount of turns out on the high (or low) speed screw = 1 jet size?
And (possibly dumb question here) but how much is one jet size? 120-125, or 120-130, or 120-122.5?
