Living in Central Illinois now, this seems to be my closest ride venue. If in June, I can make the latter weekend but have commitments on the two other weekends posted. July is open so far. I will try to make it with photo gear and a ski if the planets align just so.

You can ride flats if you want. The majority of people I know will be riding in the surf from Thursday through Sunday.

Dan, If I brought a toy hauler, I think I would want to sleep in it, rather than a hotel.

We camped there one year and they were pretty accommodating. Just down the road a mile or so.

Friday is a surf day, unless you want to ride flats. This time of year, the oceanfront can be used to beach skis.
