Oh, ok.. Thanks Was hoping that was it..

I just noticed something. In the 4th picture, it's a little blurry, there's a bolt for the rideplate that sticks up into the pump area about 1/2in. I'm going to grind it down regardless, but would that have caused any of my impeller 'just spinning' problems??? Just thought that might disturb...

So I pulled the rideplate off. There is a lot of silicone in there but don't quite know what i'm looking for. As far as I could tell, didn't seem like there wasn't any silicone along any of the seams where the pump meets the shoe...

Ok, thanks guys. I had someone else put the pump in for me. Will I be able to pull off the ride plate and check (or add to and fix) the silicone job? Or will that require removing the pump? I pull the ride plate and take a look today, and take some pics. Thanks again.

I have a FX-1. I just did the Kawi 650 pump swap and cheater pipe. I can feel the difference but when I'm just starting off (from a standstill) I give it full gas and most of the time (not all the time) it spins. I don't know if cavatation is the right word or not, it just feels like the...

Planning on getting some footholds this spring. I'm 6'5". Anyone around this height have footholds? I'm thinking of putting them as far back as I can. Just worried about placing them and then thinking, damn, I should have them a little farther forward. Also wondering the type of holds. I have a...

Also, when you drill through the fiberglass just in front of the hood, do you just use bolts with rubber washers? Anything else you need to use? Silicone?

I was looking at it more today and looks like you have to remove the rear hood latch? Is that what everyone else did? Then attach the ratchet to where the latch used to be?

I can't figure out where to mount the ratchet strap?? Any help or pics of how you did it would be great. Thanks
