I wouldn't recommend it, but you can do it. I made it through 4 moto's with only the flywheel lord mount. No issues! You can replace your lord mounts through mcmaster carr for cheap.

You can fit a B2 pump in a b1 with some work of coarse. I would only do it if you plan on swapping a 1100 or 1200 engine into the B1. There is an informative thread on pwctoday on how to install the pump. You will need to press out one of the B2 pump bearings and install one of the B1 pump...

Sounds similar to marine epoxy used to attach corals to Live Rock under water. Cool never thought of using it for pump mods.

I recommend just painting them. Use Krylon black plastic coat paint. Or you could buy a carbon Fiber one. The Riva and blowsion ones are heavy. Hope this helps. Zim
