A new nozzle would probably increase the cost significantly. Nozzles get broken sometimes too so I'm not sure that's the way. Maybe some bolt on brackets that mount to the pump flange? Could probably have them cut from stainless and bent 90 pretty cheap.

WR228 was designed for the 08+ pump position. Good for a few more mph too end. Not as aggressive as a 201. 205 is similar to the 228 but designed for 96-07 hull. Different angle on the scoop I think.
