Keep it simple. Drill a couple of small holes on both sides in the lowest part of the hull in the rear. Get a couple of stainless screws and screw them in.
When you get done with your ride remove and the let ski drain on the way home. Keep it simple

Seriously, l use a small belt sander (10” belt) first to get a shape. Then wrap or glue some 80 grit to a small
paint stick. Doesn’t have to be perfect, the turf will take the small lumps and bumps out.
l don’t think the two gentlemen involved give a crap about reservations that were made previously to the date change. l definitely understand why the change had to be made, and it needed to be addressed this year.

Yes, always sand down the entire area. Also, sand the whole tray, so you won’t have to do it later. Having said that, l also like to cover up any area you don’t want epoxy and then have to re-sand later. Masking tape and a couple layers of newspaper for that.

Went to Home Depot today and found that if you bought two batteries and a charger from Milwaukee, you would get a choice of tools for free. Cost was $199 for the charger and battery’s. I ended up with a jigsaw that I really needed. Excited to try it out.
