Here are some pics. You can see that one screw backed completely out. Most of the separation occurred on the bottom. I have already sanded/chipped away some glass and filler.

I'll get some pics. But I did the same as above but sounds like I applied a bit more marine sealant. For what ever reason about half of the screws did not hold. I'm thinking stainless bolts would be better than the screws supplied by Blowsion. I'm interested to know if anyone has used bolts vs...

Here are some shots of the ski (red one) that I did the build on.

Installed tubbies during a build on my 97 RN. Took it to the coast this weekend and one of the tubbies had partial separation from my hull. I used 5200 along with the stainless screws provided by blowsion. then I glassed the edges before paint. It's not coming completely off, but one screw...

Should be turfing tomorrow. Have some finish work to do on the glass and then I can finally move on. I'm tired of doing glass work.

quick question on your exhaust. Did you have to rout it elsewhere to make room for the holds?

Couple shots with the hood and pole set on it. still have to put everything together. Also trying to source some cool Yamaha (black) decals for the hood area. Also, will be working on the tray soon. No plans to go back with footholds. As much as I want to think I'd be doing the rolls/flips...

does anyone know where to get an 18-20" yamaha decal? I would like it to have the trademark emblem with it.

Paint is on. I've wet sanded/buffed the ski. next area will be closing up the tray and putting the turf on.

It's benn a while, but wanted to provide an update I've had multiple projects come up since I started this build in February. I've been back at it the last few weeks. I painted the bottom today (black). Hope to get red on the rest of the ski by next week. Hope the pics get loaded correctly...

Looks great. I get the no balls/foam in the sides. what type of footholds are those? Also, did you have to do anything with your exhaust pipe to re-rout it? It looks like the original opening into the engine compartment is above the tray floor.
