I feel your pain.. i put mine in the garage clean,dry and running. Just pulled it out to go ride tmrw and the starter is locked up. It just never ends. Even worse if you ride salt.

The 122mm shoe is a waste of effort to use. You have to grind it so much to use it there is just not much of it left. Corrosion killed my epoxied 122mm shoe. Replaced it with a scat trac sxr shoe and it worked out real well.

It def takes some getting used to but all the same stuff applies. You can still get low and it will turn as hard as any other ski.. i dont really prefer one over the other. i wouldnt sell my fixed steer or my fx-1. sometimes i wish i could ride them both at the same time though. lol
