Been chipping away at this build little by little. Bond line, hood lip, and nose are just about foamed thanks to help from tokarzl. Once those are finished ive got a bunch of sanding to do. Then I should be ready for glass.
Having put a full season on it during 2012, it was finally time for foothold. Be a big guy I went with the BOB holds, hopefully with these I can get comfortable. I also plan to reinforce it.
Fast forward to the present, here is how it sits in the garage.
So a little history on the ski first. I bought this back in 09 for $100. Came with crusty factory pipe, crusty and rusty motor, MSD, prop, intake grate and ride plate. Fast forward 2011, I finally gathered all the parts needed to reassemble the ski. I dropped it off at Patch Motor's since this...
Main reason behind buying my cast RRP was the adjustability. Rode my ski with the stocker and couldnt get comfortable. Put the RRP on -2 on the tubes and short turn plate made all the difference in world. Was well worth the money IMO.
If you haven't been to this ride your missing out! By far one of the best rides I've ever been to! TXJ does an amazing job putting this event together!
Beach parking is nice if you can get there. Our enclosed wasnt going to make it out there. On that note, maybe a few more guys helping get skis to the water would be good kinda like the junkies do at wavedaze.
Either way the NY crew will be back we had a great time, rented a house and lived it...
Ordered tires for my landscape trailer. Expected them on XYZ day, but end up getting a package for a house down the road (#9). Im #19. The dumba$$ driver left my tires down the road.
