ok here is my problem... i have 1990 SN superjet it has a factory B-pipe, and a MSD ignition, other wise stock, lately the stop switch/ lanyard switch wont kill the motor.. I've taken apart the switch assembly on the handle bar and cleaned all the contacts with electrical cleaner and carefully...

well i tried again... but only seem to accomplish a max of 75 PSI (tried both engines and did each cylinder twice) ... i'm thinking the rings etc are shot.. im suprised they still work well... what are my options ? do i have to just replace rings ? or am i going to have to do a full piston...

i did not hold the throttle wide open .. perhaps that is why i am not getting accurate numbers. i will try again.

just for the record .. i managed to do the full tray, chinpad, rails, and nose of a 93 SN with 1 sheet of turf... and NOT a bunch of little pieces... and i didnt need the heat gun as much as i thot... only on the nose and the chinpad.

I swapped my stock cdi with an MSD enhancer... and i can tell you ... BIG difference... fires first time everytime.... more power... easier starts... by the way its a good bit larger then the stock cdi (still fits in the same spot) ... " they are designed to deliver a much more powerful spark...
