by the way the unit on ebay has not been tested and no warranty and no return. so i will not purchase it and lose 200 bucks.

as a electronic tech. i have been studying the 95 seadoo 587 engine electronics. only it uses a magnetic pick up as the wet jet uses the pulse from the mag coil. the seadoo has a 5500 rpm over rev limiter. just like wet jet. and of course they all read rpm's and advance the timing accordingly...

i read where a guy who went by windycityski found and update CDI unit and would like to know from who and where he got this. i understand there are others needing one of these also
