I am going to pass on the hood scoop. Maybe re-jet. Overall the ski runs really good.

Other How to Add Air to a Rickter?

I could tell a noticeable difference when I rode with the hood cracked to allow more air to the carbs….bottom end much more snappy… makes me think my dasa 970with 46s would benefit from more air by way of a hood scoop.

Rickter Edge FR vs Edge FS weight difference

Thanks a bunch joeschit. I have a very similar set up. I hear the Edge FR which I have could be an extra 10-15 lbs for extra lay up/glass...so I am probably at 320+/- lbs. dry . Add 5 gallons of gas and I am at 350 lbs.

Other How to Add Air to a Rickter?

Yes.. good point. The Blowsion pole (solid piece )seems smaller than on the RRP pole(2.25 inch tubes) what pole to you have. I have a Blowsion. Do you have an RRP.. if so which one.

Other How to Add Air to a Rickter?

My Rickter Edge FR even gets pretty squirrelly at the higher speeds. It will throw me off easily….My 1500sx 60 mph+ in some chop .. no problem. Two different rides for sure.

I hear you.. not hacking holes in the hull.. my post above was about letting some more air in through the handle pole.

Options to add air to Rickter with 950cc+ engine

Fresh build: I have a Dasa 970 with dual 46s-Edge FR. The deal is it has a Blowsion pole (does not let much air in). I cracked the hood and after feeling how much it sucked the hood down when you blip the throttle it confirmed to me it could use more air. I am considering drilling a couple 1 to...
