Im not very knowlegable on high performance skis but if I was looking I would start with your local facebook marketplace, offeup, or craigslist. I also have a friend with a Krash Industries ski which is comparable to the Rickter but not as expensive and can still do freestyle. Thats my two sense...
Okay. Makes sense. I already went through the E-box and everything seems to be functioning besides the coil. I have one on the way and I guess I will see once i try it out. I am still trying to figure out how to bypass the kill switch though.
Just letting those know who dont...my electrical box got saltwater in it at one point and corroded lots of parts inside. What would be the best part to replace (relating to spark) that goes bad through corrosion?
Yeah I already replaced them and I will be sure to try that as well. I'm in a hurry to get it going so I may just replace the coil and see what it does and if not the cdi.
I know you guys get a lot of these but i was wondering specifically about the loss of spark in my case. I had my ski running fine with a small amount of spark until i towed it to the river and then it wouldn't start. checked the spark only to find there was none. One of the coil leads has a hole...

Thanks!

Ok i will be sure to check. Oof! Its backfired twice since I got it but that is because I havent had it in the water yet and the cylinders are pretty full of gas. I will check on it later tonight for cracks, leaks, etc.
Hi everybody,
I recently have had trouble with water getting into my electrical box and corroding everything. The electric start still worked until recently. I got everything dried out and got a new starter relay but it still wont start through the button. If I bypass the relay it will start...
Oh okay thanks for letting me know. When I started the ski it ran sorta fine I guess but lots of smoke came from up front...so i guess that means their is a leak.
Hello,
When I bought the ski, all of the electrical, steering, and throttle cables were routed behind the water box tubes which ended up melting through them. While taking the exhaust tubes off the water box, some of the sealer/caulk/silicone around the tube entry crumbled off. Should I be...
