I bought some t handles for my stock SBN 38’s and the high and low screws have the same course thread pitch. The Blowsion kit comes with 4 t handles. A set of course thread pitch and a set with fine thread pitch. The fine thread pitch doesn’t fit my carbs, what’s the deal? I have no idea...
Brand new never used genuine OEM Yamaha 08+ driveshaft. I needed an 07 for my build so it’s for sale, even have the receipt.

Pics of tray. Has a million holes and they were left open except the bigger ones had silicon... I noticed a crack on right side of the tray and wall edge. Someone used the wrong length pump bolts and broke the fiberglass out of the top of the pump inserts... and lastly they drilled through...
Thanks I’ll keep looking, seems like the superjet guys are removing the whole tray and walls to add footholds. Trying to get away with not having to cut the whole tray out.
Thank you, I figured it was going to have to come apart.. at this point wondering where to cut the tray and the best way to reattach it. Maybe idk how to use the search well but I still haven’t found a great thread or video yet.
Yeah it has foam, I believe all the pre Evo’s do. And I’m sure it was water in there.
Unless it’ll evaporate in a month or so being vented I believe it needs to be opened up. I have all the epoxy and fiber glass stuff. Just looking for a picture of what I’m working on if anyone has one.
Rickter FS2 wet foam suspicion. I removed the mat and found that that previous owner drilled “14” holes in the tray for foot straps. They just used sealant to fill a few of the holes and left the rest wide open and turfed over them.... Anyway I think it has wet foam and would like to get a...
Cool yes they say “ars”, thank you all for the quick feedback. I’m going to fill the seal slots with 1211 and seal them in unless somebody tells me not to.
Can’t see why it would be a bad idea, it cured my old WRX’s impossible valve cover leak.
Bought crank seals from Blowsion, didn’t even look at them till today and they are PRO X.
I’m installing a brand new OEM crank and every thread on here people say to use OEM seals only. Any truth to that? Good, bad, ok, throw them away?
Tested a few things
-Diesel soak 3 days = waste of money
-Acteone and ATF soak 1 day = dissolves
loctite and gaskets. Good for freeing stuck
hardware and cleaning threads
-Aircraft stripper = removes paint and some
corrosion with pressure washer
-Gun cleaning kit + drill = works...
Thanks I’ll hose it down with WD-40 and see what happens. Tap would work but it’s tough on the threads... Was hoping to soak the cylinder and cases in something. I tried Acetone and ATF, it removed the red loctite but salt remains. I heard vinegar will do it or even soak in diesel?? Any...
