Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

Not sure i follow. Do you mean a lot of people say the crank only sees vacuum?

Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

No apology needed. I do the same sometimes. I thought the vacuum would be more important as its sucking in air making it leaner. Im guessing much harder to find a vacuum leak then a pressure leak though.

Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

I would have gone to 10. Got the info from here somewhere. Dont think its carb related. I stripped those down. Was jetted correctly i think. Will start with fixing the epoxy.

Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

The previous seller sold me a bit of a lemon so not sure when it started The epoxy looks legit and the engine builder that built it is top notch so im guessing it ran properly at some stage. Could the backfiring have damaged anything else to cause it? Its a 950 dasa with 48mm carbs. Any chance...

Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

Not sure why you posted again or what the hell your on about mate. Sounds like your a few cans in. Was hoping for something constructive like "if you lose a psi a minute you should be ok" and save me a few hours work. If you know what you're actually talking about. I guess its easier to be a...

Off idle bog. Case epoxy air leak.

I have an off idle bog when on the water. Have done a leak down test and I have a leak where the case has been epoxied for porting. Just wondering if that might be causing it. Engine has been professionally built. Did have a backfire issue which has been resolved.

Can i put oil in flywheel case to lube bendix?

Looks like majority rules. Ive got some lanolin spray which sticks like poop to a blanket which i'll spray on the bendix and grease the rest. We've been doing the slavens wet mod on our ktm 2 strokes for years and nothing bad has happened. It works a treat on the older style bendix setups...

Can i put oil in flywheel case to lube bendix?

I have a 950 dasa with TL. Is it ok to put 50 to 100ml of light fork oil in the flywheel case to lube eveything? We have been doing this for years in ktm 2 strokes with great success. Just wondering if it will effect timing or anything. I have found a small sealed can am diff breather bellows...

Not yet. I was just about to buy one and take a gamble. That would be awesome if you could. Do you have an XFR or an edge?

650sx cover on a Rickter XFS

Just wondering if anyone has tried to fit a 650sx cover on a rickter. The dimensions are very similar. Just worried that the bars on the xfs wont let the cover come down far enough.
