oh wait the plastic fitting i was asking about was the wire harness through fitting for the box.

ok, thats what i thought. That will go on the list haha. its getting longer each day.

i pulled the stator off and opened up the electronics box, all looks clean except for one sensor which shows some corrosion(see picture) and one of the plastic through fittings has been broken. Also this unit has what i have found to be a block drain, I am pretty sure i want to block that...

hmm not what i wanted to hear but exactly the information im looking for. When you say to rip the electronics apart are you talking the sealed housing that holds what looks like the injection pump and the ign circuits? ooof i hate electrical work in boats.
