I use Amsoil HP Marine because the gas station a mile from my house carries it for $8.90 a quart. If they carried Maxima I would be using Castor 927. Walmart carries the Pennzoil Marine TC-W3 by the gallon, I may start using it depending on the price.

ytx7lbs Super Start brand. AGM. About 175-180 compression. No issues starting.

I used a YTX 7LBS in my ski all of last season. It never went dead on me. I am NOT using a total loss or an enchancer though. The 7 is A LOT lighter and smaller than a 16lb-s which is recommended for jet skis.

sorry for the horrible pic, I sold the ski a while back. Just go into Napa and say you need a 4 wire starter relay for a mower. They have a few different styles, they all do the same thing

Yeah I dont ride in salt, I'm sure that would kill it faster. Seadoo makes a nice sealed unit, I believe it is in the $30-40 range. Just do a search for it. Really any solenoid will do.

+1 on the lawnmower solenoids. The poles wont be long enough to use in the stock box, but I just mounted mine on the side and deleted the housing. For $13 it works great and didnt have any problems with it.

That was actually produced, it's called a hydrocycle, not redneck engineered (unless you consider the HydroCycle engineers rednecks lol). One of the first "pwcs."
