I posted a few times correcting the OP and a moderator deleted my posts. Sounds like the seller has a few friends in high places. Haven't been able to find anything "proving" that ski isnt a '97. the wikki article isnt helping either? i thought it used to have pics of squares.

Were squarenose superjets made in '97 with a 701? Kind of got into an argument on another forum for sale ad. http://502streetscene.net/forum/showthread.php?t=178756 The pic in the ad is clearly a squarenose yet she says its a '97 and books for $3000. She also claims that BOTH SN and RN...

Its a '91 SN hull, so maybe its slightly different? If i could carve into the hull to widen the flat spot in the center, there'd be enough room beside the shaft for it. Would that be a terrible idea? (i.e. grind some out with a dremel)

well i bought a T800 thinking it would only be slightly bigger. I was wrong. It doesnt fit under the shaft. looks like im going to have to modify it unless someone wants to trade a T500 for a T800? :fingersx:

I have two cousins who are 5 and 8 yrs old, and neither one of them will even think about doing half of those things your kid is doing. Their parents have these two boys scared of everything. Drives me crazy. You're kiddo is jumping in pools, texting the ladies, playing with a giant dog...

I havent taken the ski out yet, but it looks like it did fix the problem. Just got it all back together tonight, tested the battery cable leads and theres no resistance, so I should be fine. wont know for sure until i run it for a day, then let it sit for a day or two and see if the battery is...

seems like i could come up with a better method for less than $250. you could just buy an 8ft flat bottom aluminum boat for instance. they tow easier than you might think. plus you have a boat!

Really sucks man, I lost an outboard engine in a lake one time. One of the worst feelings ever.

with a nice trailer and very clean maybe $700. otherwise $450-500 sounds more reasonable to me.

wrapped mine in outdoor carpet. used liquid nail, then zipties to hold it on until the glue dried. drilled holes in it first so it would sink easier. still works great 2 seasons later.
