I mean it tries to turn over without a spark plug, if both are in it will try for a little, then sounds like it builds up pressure, and stops cranking. then when I take the plug out, itll crank again. i put gas in the spark plug holes and it starts, then dies after about 5-10 seconds.

Yes I have. I had the ski running after that., then turned the hose on, then the ski died, but having the hose nozzle quite a bit aways wasnt the best idea and didnt make it in time to turn it off. Now i have it in a small body of water in the front yard. (big jacuzzi, fresh water, no chemicals)...

just tried to dry start the ski with a hose, not only did water reenter the motor, i had water from about 3 days ago comming out. Safe to say I screwed myself over??

I filled my engine up with water was was told if i dont get it all out the i could have a crank bearing failure, does that mean crank piston bearing? because thats what someone else said. Not too good when it comes to this stuff. anything helps!

All I know is its an 86' kawasaki 440. is 440 the type? Ive seen names like sx, and superjet, just curious.. Also Ive seen skis have rooster tails, how do I get mine to do that? Thanks in advance, sorry for being sp new =P

I got it from a guy who helped me throw it in my truck, but wouldnt it get heavier after you ride because of water weight? Forgive me I know nothing lol. Plus I dont wanna have to reply on other people to help me, like if I wanna meet up with someone, I cant load it alone.

I would take it to the lake, but not knowing how to get up on one, not being 100% sure its gonna float, and not having any equipment like a lifejacket or anything, makes it hard. Does anyone here ever go to Buena Vista??

Linden, what where you referring to when you said dual 800's? Was that for the bilge pump? and how hard was it to close it up? Did you fiberglass it yourselves?
