    Need help identifying a 750

FWIW my '98 SXi Pro has the green big pin dual carb engine. Stock engine in mine. Could be that some '98 came with silver and some came with green?

    SX/SXi/SXi Pro pro width?

Finger to finger on my SXi Pro hull is 21" However the hull you have your finger on doesn't appear to be an SXi hull since there's no rear exhaust outlet. Let me know if you need anything else.

    Blaster Waveblaster 1 or 2?

IMO the WB1 is the better choice for waves. We have one and out in Lake Michigan in 2-4 foot waves it's awesome. The WB II is just too big and heavy. Good luck!

SX/SXi/SXi Pro 750SXi Pro acts like it wants to die

So a few weeks back I had a new problem pop up with my '98 SXI Pro. After running hard on the throttle, letting off then hitting it again the ski acts like it wants to die. No power at all. If you work the throttle gently it will clear up and eventually run perfectly again. Now here's the...

Factory Pipe is the way to go on the Pro. We have a '99 with stock exhaust and a '98 with the Factory Pipe and the difference is night and day!

rebuilding 95 750sxi top and bottom end

I'm starting the same process on our '99 Pro. Any recommendations on aftermarket pistons to use and decent gasket kits? This is the first rebuild on the ski as far as I know. Thanks

What are pistons trying to tell me

I have a '99 Pro with a dried out stock exhaust (extra pisser overboard from the head before the water goes into the pipe). It helped somewhat on the power but not a huge improvement. On our '98 Pro we have a milled stock head and the Factory Pipe. Unbelievable power difference compared to...

    SXR Rideplate question

Is the stock plate from a 750 Sxi Pro the same as the stock SXR plate? I have a plate from a Pro we can try.

    SXR Rideplate question

Hello all, My friend just picked up a mint 2010 800 SXR, completely stock except for the intake and ride plate. It came with the Worx 222 grate and Worx 311 ride plate. We're both used to riding modified 750 Sxi Pro's with the Worx 306 or R&D extended ride plate and are brand new to the 800...

Other GoPro use on 750 Sxi Pro

Hello all, My wife just bought me a GoPro for my birthday and I'm new to using it on the ski. I bought a strap that allows me to attach it to a vented bicycle helmet and that works but quite honestly I look really stupid wearing it around the lake! Looking for some tips on the best way to...

    Wave Rave 2015

Hey everyone, We're headed over to Claybanks tomorrow and Sat to do some wave jumping (hopefully) and camping. How was the boat ramp down at the park this year? I heard the beach at the campground has kind of disappeared? Hope to make it out to Wave Rave next year.

SXR Looking at a used SXR, what was stock compression?

Thanks. I'm assuming that's on a warm engine, no air filters, wide open throttle?

SXR Looking at a used SXR, what was stock compression?

Hello all, I'm looking at an '09 SXR tonight and will likely buy it if it's as nice as the owner claims. Supposedly 100% stock. My question is what was the stock compression at sea level for the '09? Also any other obvious flaws to look for? Thanks!

Blaster WB1 bogs badly when turning to the right, problem just started

Figured it out. I replaced the fuel lines, carb to tank return line and the crankcase pulse line (or vacuum line, not sure what it's really called, the line from the cases to the carb). The pulse line was hard/cracked causing a poor seal at the cases. I believe that was the culprit. We rode...

Blaster WB1 bogs badly when turning to the right, problem just started

Our WB has a single carb (stock). Haven't tried cleaning it yet, but a good thought. Will crack it open this weekend.

A friend suggested maybe a problem with the reeds. Anyone have any experience like that?
