does anyone have a pic of where you connect a hook onto a pump mount? i have an edge and really have no way if i have to help a buddy out as i only have an eye on the front of the ski.... been wondering what guys do where there is no eye on the back.
My ski was built by blowsion by the first owner. I’m guessing it’s the standard blowsion aluminum pole? I do like it’s length for the most part but every so often when I’m out in the surf (Lake Michigan) I think of it was a tad shorter it might feel better, but if I could just get my nose down a...
Mine looks like a capped off stock superjet tank, so 5 gallons or so. I wouldn’t want to go smaller as my 950 dasa is thirsty. Completely topped off I don’t notice much. Maybe I’m just being too sensitive to how fat I am??? Lol.

I’d like to be able to try and back flip it eventually which is why I want to run both back.
I will say this hull is pretty good at staying on the surface though compared to my old round nose. So glad I snagged this thing last winter, this summer has been awesome riding it.

I’ve ridden all season with what I would guess is the short plate (is flush to back of hull). I feel like I battle the back end sinking on me where I have to ride surf stance and have to shift my weight forward, I can never have both feet back. Hence why I’m thinking of going longer plate. For...
Can anyone explain the purpose of the batwing ride plate for an edge? I want to go with a longer plate vs what came on my ski and trying to grasp the advantage of going with the batwing model or just a regular extended plate.
I've tried cheap wrap around glasses as well and they don't do much for protection I've found... I'm about ready to put a snorkel mask on at this point! :-)
I am wondering what everyone is using that wear goggles to ride. I have contacts and it's a battle when getting a face full of water to clear out my eyes and make sure my contacts stay in place. Bought a pair of jet tribe glasses and water does not divert around the goggles at all and still...
I’m thinking a ratchet strap strung through a pool noodle slit down the side. At least that’s my first thought. I haven’t trailered mine yet since I bought it this fall.

You'd pretty much just buy the parts from yamaha and install right? Obviously have to find a place to mount the switch would be the hardest part I would guess?
Yeah, I just hate paying attention to time when I'm out in awesome swells. I have to admit it was nice to focusing on riding non stop and having the reserve was a great safety net.
So another thing crossed my mind about guys that head out a bit farther from the launch... how do you deal with not having a reserve switch on your ski? I haven't taken mine out yet and I can only imagine a 950 dasa is going to suck more gas than my stock 701 ever did. I'm sure it will just...
I found my strap when rolled up fits right up I. The upper pole cover. It’s in there pretty tight but I may get it secured better with some Velcro.

What would be the best way to mount a tow strap in a rickter? I'm looking at the hood of my edge and thinking I could get a flat nylon strap rolled up on there with some velcro strips to hold it in place. Anyone have pics of things they've done? I understand I may have to access it quickly in...
Sold for $3500 in case anyone is wondering what someone will pay for a bone stock machine. :-) I'm happy and could have gotten $3750 if I was more stubborn.
I see what you're talking about now, I was looking at the ones that appeared surface mount. I'm still vain I guess.... lol . I just ordered the Thrust today, we'll see how it goes.
Ok, maybe I'm a stuck up snob but the thrust plug looks much better than the versa.... lol. Sticking a versa plug on a rickter with what it costs is like putting a huge spoiler on a four door honda civic....
