It will be 100 times better with the shorter pole. You will be able to actually stand in the front of the tray, which will put weight over the nose. You'll jst have to learn the timing of shifting your body forward.
I ride with a d cut plate, a -3.25" pole and strait bars.
Anyway to run a "original size" tap in there to clean up the threads? or is it to far gone? I don't know if there is a way to get a larger O.D. jet size to be able to cut new (bigger) threads...New carb in your near future??
For those of you mounting the bilge outlet(s) up by the hood, on the gunwales...are you able to
get the fitting flush with the hull. It looks like it may have trouble sitting flat because its so curvy in that area. I will be using a strait fitting.
