I've got a 760 that will start if you put fuel straight down the carbs but will not start off gas from the tank. It is pulling gas to the carbs and I have cleaned the carbs several times and have not found anything that seemed to be blocked. New gas and spark plugs. Any suggestions?
Ski won't turn over when I hit the start button but will if I jump the solenoid. Took the start/stop switch apart, its good. Tested and i'm getting power to the start switch as well. Battery is good. Maybe the solenoid is bad? Bad wire connection somewhere?
Nice. I also just kinda like the idea of going with the "underdog" of the engines. I know thats dumb and not saying that's what I'm for sure going to do or base my decision off of that but it just kinda has a little of the cool factor and problem of trying to figure out how to do it. Maybe one...
Put your dicks up, this pissing contest is over boys!! haha sorry, had to say it. So anyways, anyone with any actual experience with such an engine have any luck getting some low end punch out of it?
Ok so here's what I want out of my ski. I would like to have a motor that will help me be able to barrel roll and flip off of boat wakes and maybe do flatwater rolls. I know technique is a much larger part rather than power, but hey power didn't make anyone worse at it right? So will I be able...
From what I've read on here, yes the 62t cylinders are beefier. Seems to me that the 62t 701 and 62t 760 cylinders are nearly identical as far as porting goes. Just the 760 has more displacement, obviously, which would make one think more power as well, even down low where we like it!
Yeah, the flip side of it is i'd have to put the 650 in my wb2. What am I looking at cost wise the have the cylinders milled down? Does anyone make templates for a freestyle port job that I could use to do it myself? Or is porting something I really should leave to the pros?
Ok, so I've got a wb2 with a 760 in it that i'm pondering on swapping into my sn (650). I've been reading all kinds of threads on here trying to figure out if it's worth it for flat water. Obviously there's a lot of debate on this. So here's what I'm thinking, mill the cyclinders down to lower...
