i have an ocean pro ride plate on my 550sx that sits extends about 1" past the rear of the ski. would cutting a d-cut into it work as well buying a plate with the cut already in it? btw, im gonna be askin alot of odd questions for a while since this is my first ski and my first season riding.

im lookin for a prop with more grunt for my 550sx... i've found a solas kd6, will that work?
