Whats the easiest way to get a stator out of a 750 SXI? And what would you guys suggest as where to get a new one or rebuild one?

I tried starting my SXI today for the first time since last season and i wasn't able to start i tried using starter fluid that didn't help but it would start up for a second and die and it seems like i heard air getting released when i let go of the start button?? anyone have any ideas

I don't have any foam in my SXI and was wondering if that is a bad thing and if it is a bad thing what kind of foam would i need to use and where could i get it? thanks

So today i was turning on my SXI and it wouldnt start after the first atempt so i tryed it again and then all of a sudden a hear a loud shot that sounded like a gun and when i opened my hood there were 2 cracks on the water box what could have this been from? I hate when stuff breaks!:banghead...
