Well here's what I've been up to this summer. Pretty much the same as last summer.
Going really really fast but not in a straight line.

Bike carnage (not mine). Was a 2005 honda 600rr.
Phil the rider is OK except for a few scrapes.
Ran two track days at Mosport raceway this week and one of the boys I went with toasted his bike bad.
He put it out the end of turn 2 which is a challenging high speed (4th gear) blind...

If anybody is interested in coming up to Sarnia on Fri let me know.
Maybe a little ride in the St Clair river and pizza/beer etc at my place Friday night. Also got a few extra rooms and plenty of floor space for my fellow riders.
Now here is the warning! This is my new...
Just got this today.
Looks like someone is fishing for info.

Who are you and what do you ride.
I always have a hard time keeping track of whos who and then once people hit the water you can't tell who owns what ski.
If you want post your name and a pic of you and your ski.

Advice for all you fresh water riders.
Make sure your electrically system is in tiptop shape.
By this I mean no half azz wiring jobs with sloppy connections.
Salt water conducts way better than fresh water and will short out your electrically system in a heart beat.
Nobody wants to drive...
Just seeing how things are going to fit into the back of the truck. Wasn't sure if there was enough room to get a ski in with the bike.

I crashed my bike on Monday at the track. Nice little highside coming out of a tight corner. Likely doing about 60-70mph. Amazing how fast it happens. One min your cranking on it and then you have about 1/100th of a second to go  and then its like you had a rope tied to the front...
Haven't been posting much lately so I just thought I'd say hi.
I finally bought another street bike so between it and jetskiing I haven't been on the net near as much. I'll have plenty of time for the computer in the fall/winter.
Did I mention I bought a bike...
I decided to try to make a squarenose chin pad out of fiberglass.
I took a stock chin pad and stripped off the old cover and padding and used that as the mold.
Here's some pics http://www.x-h2o.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=87
For some reason the pics are out of order but I'll fix...
I've added several pics to my gallery here http://www.x-h2o.com/gallery/index.php?cat=10005
I posted these so people can get a look at the difference between a stock 61X cylinder and a Lamey.
This should also help with all those "what is a powervalve" questions and should show what is need...
I know this is poor planning on my part but I had to wait and see if I was going to be able to attend or not.
So if anybody has room on their site for Tracie and myself, one truck and one tent let me know.
Thanks
Steve
Ok thought this was a superjet driveshaft but it's not.
Anybody know what it is.
It's apox 31.5" long and the thread for the impeller is bigger than on the superjet driveshaft. The threads measure aprox 7/8"
Thanks
Steve
I was in the garage today and thought I'd weigh my two square nose hulls.
They are both striped 90 or 91 hulls. One has the front and side bumpers and the other is totally stripped except for a few water hoses.
Anyway both turned out to weigh 110-111 lbs without the hood.

When I was down in Daytona several of us were talking about riding when it's cold. I found some ice dodging pics and thought I'd post them for you. These have been posted before on PWCToday but are now gone.
They are also on my user page, check it out.
This is what happens after several...
