thinking 760 power factor pipe single carb mag pump

I just disabled my DASA 1100 and I was shocked when I saw the crank. It has only been a year and it looks like I have been using it as a boat anchor. I always blow out my boat and never leave the hood on. I use maxima super M and run cam 2 110 . I don't know what is causing this, any thoughts?

I have a crank works 10 mm that i have run in my dasa for two seasons. I am freshening up the motor. Not sure if I should use this crank? It has some rust on it, but all the bearings are smooth and the rods are tight. Looking for some input thanks
