    2008 Kawasaki KX450F - CLEAN

Time to sell my KX450F. I only ran 1/4 tank through it this whole summer due to not having time! I put on a new timing chain and tuned the top end on it back in June. It's got Pro Circuit silicone hoses and a Boyesen high volume water pump. It's a freaking beast! Looking to get $3250 for it...

More flatwater backflip attempts - still can't get it

This trick continues to drive me crazy. I know It's a timing or body position thing. I think I just need to ride with someone that can do it. Any pointers from people that are actually doing them?

Liability insurance for 'homebuilt' or 'kit' watercraft

What are you fellas with custom skis that are titled 'homebuilt' or 'kit' doing for liability insurance? My broker can't find anyone to write a policy for liability on my "assembled" watercraft. So guys with Rickters, Q8's, XFT's, Waterdawg hulls - who are you using? My umbrella policy won't...

    one flatwater backflip (that's it)

Well, tonight was the best and worst ride ever. On the good side, I hit a flatwater backflip on my 5th attempt! I came out of the tray before the nose went in, but I subbed out of it. I was soooo stoked, I lined back up and tried another - FAIL! The next 20 that I tried all sucked donkey balls...

freestylegeek rolls and backflip attempt (November 2008)

Well, I finally got my wife to run the camera for a little bit today. I just installed my -3.25 Xmetal turnplate and bushings, so now I'm at -10.5" from stock. I haven't had any footage of myself all year. I learned more in the 10 minutes I spent studying these clips than I did all year! :-)...

    Huntington Lake, Indiana

Has anyone ever ridden on Huntington Lake (south west of Fort Wayne, IN)? From the satellite photos, it looks like a great boat launch, with really nice shoreline surrounding it. It’s also kind of a central location for folks in Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky that might want to ride together...

    for sale - 2006 Kawasaki KX450F - $4000

Time to get rid of it! I just took it for a 41 mile trail ride last weekend and the thing ran awesome. In fact, that's the only tank of gas I've run through it since I got it last fall. It's in excellent condition. There's a few little goodies on it like an Excel A60 rear rim, Renthal 40 tooth...

    Bendix carnage from Daytona

So, I didn't go down there, but my ski did. MonsterSJ was going to ride it in the flatwater clinic, but just after he got out of the no wake zone there were some troubles. He got it pulled back in, and could only turn the engine over one direction by hand. Hmmmm.... Well, after I got it...

    I'm in

Just got my '06 KX450F today. My last dirtbike was a 1985 Honda CR125 with no powervalve parts and a 250 pipe. I rode the 450 today for about 3 minutes. This thing has ridiculous power. The suspension improvements in the last 21 years are phenomenal! I can't wait to get this thing out of...

Does anyone test MSD total loss ignition modules? (P/N 4272)

I'm pretty sure my ignition module is not functioning, but would like to confirm it before hanging it on the wall. I have wired it up directly to the battery and when I short out the trigger wires, I cannot get the LED to glow. It just completely stopped working after I stopped it on the trailer...

Need help with chasing down an air leak

OK, I thought I had my air leak problem taken care of (I didn't JB weld my second pulse line fitting into my cases :banghead:). But, when I rode yesterday, it often acted like it was still there. Case in point: I did a big bronco (nose stab) and sunk it in pretty deep. I came back up, and...

Paul Lehr at LPW is THE MAN!!

We all know how cool Paul (LPW) is, but he is going over and above for me on this Daytona trip! My 8mm Lamey stroker motor is close, but will not be complete for Daytona. If I wanted to rush it, I could make it work, but I don't feel like making any stupid mistakes on this motor. Paul...

    Freestylegeek's squarenose conversion

Well, here it starts. I sold my beloved 1996 hull (with my sacred 24-7 hood and nosepiece). Now, I'm building a squarenose conversion. The new hull started out as a 1994 squarenose. I cut the top deck off, and removed the foam. I removed all the stock sealant around the waterlines and...
