Ok, so after I move the xhaust on the 440, i'm gunna start trying to do fountains subs etc. Thing is, on a stock 440/550 hood, what can you do to help keep water out?

So currently my ski has something called a sand traction pad or somethin or other I'm hydroturfing later this year, but which cut it best? And is there much of a difference between the molded and cut grooves/diamond?

Ok, so I'm redoing my js 440, new paint, footstraps, turf, kill lanyard, side exhaust below waterline. But I have a questions first. I have a clear plastic hood for the ski. Should I paint this or not. And if I don't paint it, how could I get it to be clearer? It's gotten kind of a cloudy...

Is it worth it to save the extra 20 bucks and buy a sheet of hydroturf rather than the precut for a 440? How hard is it to returf using the sheet? Would I have enough left to possibly do it again later? I'm adding footstraps at the same time if this makes any difference... I was thinking black...

Are the metal braces for a js 440 worth it? Or would it be better to just add some fiberglass when I pull the motor add side exhaust and repaint this year?
