Looking for the guy that let me ride his edge in Daytona This year . His ski was set up darn near perfect for me and I wanted to get some of his basic measurements.
Super nice guy very appreciative of his generosity.
APB …. Do you know this man !
OK boys it's been a while since I've been active..... started a circus build ,stopped, started, then stopped again etc. I have summoned the build gods but apparently did not make the proper sacrifice..... can't understand went wrong...... O. .... wait a minute I think I've figured out what went...
Well ... I have a 144 trim but need one for a 155. I'm sure a few of you have done a shade tree mod to make this work. So what do you do and how did it work out ?
Well just because you don't see us at work does not mean we are not hard at it . After the over whelming response to the ONLY ride plate that actually fits we have decided to make another MAJOR handling improvement ( after running up on a trailer and grinding down a chin until you could see day...
Ok just curious about opinions .....
What I want ...
Comment only if you have ridden both. I'm only concerned about the ride . I'm not concerned about Steve or durability . I own both hulls and know what the chan rides like just curious how they differ.
Just ordered a gallon.... Its supposed to be about the same working time as polyester or vinyl. Its UV stable in like us composites and others.supposed to wet out better as well. Anyone use any resin research products. I think Trinity uses the 2000 resin research system I may be wrong.
I HATE...
Well ..... Tweeker Industries has done it again . At least we think we have done it again .... The truth is we really don't know what we have done , but we assure you all we have done something ....
Tweeker industries has been working over time in their double TOP SECRET location in conjunction...
Tank fittings.... what works what doesn't ? Need to add some to a 550 tank. I know about the grommet style Fittings but have heard they have a tendency to leak. What say the flock....
Just curious how many of you chan owners have had your chan in the surf. I know only of one . Horndog had his out at hugo . His was set up for flat ( he handled it well ) . Just curious what others experienced .
I know this is a chan thread and it's susceptible to a be derailed ..... please...
Well ..... we have been shooting a good bit since his 10th birthday. We have the safety down ( I'm very comfortable with his attention to detail in that area ). We have been practicing shouldering his single shot 20 and following a target ( in the usmc we called it snapping in ) . WELL ...
A friend wanted me to find a bike for him . He wanted a F/S 350 or under . This is what I found locally. I call he said pull the trigger 350.00 ..... The next day his wife told him to get out of the house ...... needless to say I have not been reimbursed and really don't want to add to his...
There is a certian interior coating that some hull builders use. Trinity is one and there are others. It's strictly used for cosmetic reasons. It looks to be an epoxy with some sort of flake mixed with it. Anyone now what the product is.
Be forewarned in less you are laying up a part ...... ON THE FACE OF THE SUN don't use this resin. Seriously unless you are retired and have nothing better to do other tend this slow drying resin use a faster setting product.
I use mainly fast set products and cool them down before use in the...
Swapping a motor out last week I noticed my reeds were about shot so decided to address it . Got a set of older Boyesen reed cages with the stuffers built in with good reeds thought I would save a buck if I could . Says 112 on the side I assume that means the reed it takes.
Any one have...
Ok , I know there is a post with several TL systems mounted in areas other than above the bulk head . i have searched several times but like Yukon Cornelius ....... Wahoo ....... nothing.
I'm looking for alternative mounting locations .... Post them up if you have an example.
Well I think I'm going to do a build on one of the little Scott spark 20s . Friday night (in the cover of darkness) I pretty much disassembled the whole freekin bike and weighed the parts
Forks 4.2 lbs
Cranks rings 1.6 lbs
Rear shock 11.6 oz
Ft wheel with tire 3.0 lbs
Rear 3.5...
Well the chirens bees growin . It's time to rethink the bike question. They are on redline minis and ready to make the jump to 20" . I could possibly put them on 24's , but the stand over would be about 3 inch to tall . I was told by some of the LBS's that stand over is not that important .... I...
