Alright guys I have a quick question I was rebuilding one of my blaster pumps the other day and believe I put the thick pump seal in backwards with the flat side up will this hurt anything or do I have to tear it all back apart and install it the correct way like the one pictured?

I’m working on doing my first pump rebuild. Bought new driveshaft, new bearing and seals. I got it all put together and greased, without the impeller on the driveshaft it turns fine but as soon as I tighten the impeller at all it won’t turn at all. Any ideas what’s wrong?
