I understand that the manifold preheats the water for the engine but does the second part need to be water jacketed? It does spray in a small jet of water but that can still be incorporated without the use of a water jacket. Reason being this hull doesn't have much wiggle room but at 260lbs...

(750SP) Well not too sure on this one.... Which way should the head be mounted? It makes sense to have the outlets on the intake side making the water flow full across the cylinder but these tabs seem to line up better to the cylinder if its mounted opposite. Any ideas?

My build right now is a JS550 top on a 650sx bottom, bondlineless, glassed on FX1 tubbies, X2 trim, 750 small pin light mods..... Id like to possibly flip it in some big surf but it needs to still be able to ride and not porpoise like crazy. I like to cruise around but still be flatwater fun...

Does anyone know if you can twist the center section of the kawi 750 starter clockwise more toward the mani? Not much room in the js hulls. It's way to close to the pipe for my liking.Should be able to disassemble and rotate slightly I'd think. Pic explains... Thanks, Thomas.
