I'm trying to figure out if you can run a kawi motor with a Yamaha pump in a Yamaha based ski. I know you most likely need a mid shaft conversion kit but I'm not sure, not familiar with kawi. Anyone have advice?

Just put a xscream SS 900cc with a factory B-pipe and dual 44's in my gen 2 BOB hull. I put a 13/18 solas prop in it and am getting good pop off a die start but after that I have no power. Motor revs up but no pull to it. Any advice on a different pitch prop? Running a stock 144 pump with a mag...
