I think the only thing more off topic would be desert related. I bought this place on April 8th, 2016. Since then, we have been working on it over the weekends and slowly making it fit my height (I'm 6'9", seriously!) and our style. I have a scattered collection of pictures that I would like to...
Coming up on a week with no reply which seems odd, we were chatting over some parts and a decent sized order, he was going to check something and now hes MIA. I'm not in the loop much so i dont know if anythings going on, i sent him a message Friday to follow up, but last i heard from him was...
I have at least one cylinder that needs a going over and possibly re coating, possibly more. I dont want to know who's the cheapest, i want to know who does the best work every time. Ill need thoses checked for wear, and if ok, prepped for new stock size pistons. Motor is a 66V powervalve.
Building a tuning app, and i didnt realise i needed survey results for a proposal, which is due tomorrow morning! Can i get 50 replies to this tonight? this app returns jetting specs once filled out, and you can save and edit saved tunes.
Thanks for the help guys!!!
in regards to the last...
As some of you know I am taking computer programming in school, and we have a web/design project coming up that i thought i'd use as an opportunity to setup a nice tuning/jetting web app. If it works well i would consider pushing it towards a mobile based app for android and possibly apple, but...
I was left without a running ski the end of last year and needed a top end, Bruce had a 61x top end i had been eying, so i asked for pics, which he had up very fast. a few days later once i made up my mind, i talked to him about a deal. When we agreed on shipping, I told him i needed a few days...
So yea, this is happening.
I need to log my progress and i cant keep track, and why not share it with the people of my favorite activity! Sounds like a great plan. Ill cover gains, losses, any injury, and mostly would love any advice and would also enjoy helping anyone needed advise. I dont...
Wondering if anyone else has some of these gems kicking around, id like to know if they are common or a hard to come by item. I picked these up a few years ago on here from @spookyjjj
these are 140* water thermostats for 3/8" cooling from ADA Racing. I contacted ADA and they dont/wont be making...
I bought a 99 Skidoo 670 Deluxe last fall, built a new motor and fresh suspension, rode it for about 250 miles or 400km, and realized its not my sport. break in is almost done, compression is currently climbing. I have all the paperwork, it runs great. New crank, pistons, seals, coolant, tracks...
I guess I'm a little late to the party, I should have started this rebuild back in January. End of last year my motor let go, leaving me with a 650 to finish off the season. It was probably the best performing 650 SJ on the water with all the parts it had bolted to it. Anyways, I've decided to...
Hey,
Last season this top end blew due to my rookie mistake of not putting the C clip in correct (i believe). I am now trying to identify the sleeves to replace and rebuild it. The sleeves have a 90mm (+/- .05mm) outside diameter, and a 142.3mm (+/- .03mm) height. The were bored at 84.45mm...
Sleeves are in a 61x top end, OD is 90mm, ID when they went is 84.5mm. deck to skirt is 142mm. if it helps the cylinders are engraved DBP on the side, which im told is protec.
thanks for any help!
Has anybody mesaured the average displacement of water that a superjet or similar that is fully submerged and filled with water displaces? I estimated my SN at roughly 18 cubic feet in size 7'x16"x2', but my math is telling me that a ready to ride ski with full tank of fuel (300lbs) would only...
I named this thread "my standup", and not my SN or SJ or etc as i dont really know the direction ill be heading down the road. if money allows, a AM hull is the goal, but getting there may be difficult. This thread will be mainly used to log progress, and keep track of work/parts.
For those who...
Hey, I am taking a SBN 44 mikuni from a 650 to my new 762. Currently has a 160M/120P, just wondering if this will be suitable for the new motor? ATP head, 35cc domes, 91-94 octane, 61x freestyle porting top/bottom with wiseco 84.5mm pistons. Single carb, stock 61x intake. running the 650 coffman...
For the little tray time i had in it, i loved it! its a very stable ski, does not ride nose high, and feels incredibly light. I rode a 701 62t with TL, 11/17 prop and solas mag. It carves very well, and soars even with that power. I rode a bob gen 3 directly after and had alot of trouble riding...
This winter i'm putting together a big bore motor, and have some questions as this is my first go at this. The top end is a ATP head, with 35cc domes (also have 40cc), 61x cylinders, resleeved and ported, bored to 84.5mm (762cc) with wiseco pistons. I want to stick to a 44mm mikuni, but its the...
So, long story short, riding the SJ is a F-ing workout when i first started. Now that im facing the offseason, im looking at gym time, healthy eating, and lots of gains. I started pushing myself the end of September, and am feeling awesome. protein shake or bar daily, loading myself with...
