    Hey Wayne, my point was that whether you have a ski on a homemade PVC stand or on a kick butt commercial one, a cracked hull in not a warranty item. It's an insurance claim regardless. Probably homeowners.

    Great price on a great ski. It's too bad he "had to leave country and the city of course and had to stop the auction." No doubt the ski is in storage and cannot be seen locally but thankfully, he will probably ship it to you for free. I would ask him if you can send him a cashier's check...
