Loading into a pickup by yourself??

its not about price. its about convenience. you can store your ski on the cart in small places like the bed of a truck or inside of a van. there are no extra tolls involved or registration to renew every year or lights to have to worry about. no bearing buddies to keep greased up. etc etc...

i did say 12v light right???? i didnt say 120v. if you can find a 12volt (not 120 volt) test light at walmart, thatll work if they dont have a meter.

did you remove, wire brush, grease and retorque the battery terminals? also, are the two big red wires on the relay tight?

are you SURE your battery is charged? will it light up a 12v lightbulb?
  16. S

    I am not Happy-SOB

why run a new wire to such a tight spot? just verify that all of the existing wires are tight/unbroken and bypass the relay.

you can just run a new ground from the negative terminal on the battery to one of the accessible bolts on the engine like one of the flywheel cover bolts.

either your battery is dead or your main ground is loose or isnt connected. assuming youre batt is good, check the main negative wire from the battery. it usually attaches toward the rear of the starter. its probably loose.

all i was saying about the ground is make sure that the relay posts arent resting on it. kane, like keefer said, its the pile of black wires on the metal half of the box AND THE BOX ITSELF.

Loading into a pickup by yourself??

i wouldnt. ever try to unload a ski into the water from a high cart. its not pretty. loading it onto the cart isnt so easy either if its a high cart. those fatass tires are VERY bouyant. ....unless youre talking about a shop stand.
