im about to put the engine back into my 90 superjet. i marked all the shims that i took out and am wondering what all i have to do when i put the engine back in as far as alignment is concerned.
when i replaced my water box the big hose between the fuel tank and the fuel cap came disconected at the filler area, when i went to reconnect the hose it didn't seem very secure. my question is, is there supposed to be a hose clamp at the filler neck (like the one at the fuel tank) or is it...
does anyone have the hose that goes between the kerker muffler and and the pipe that connects the the manifold. it looks like it should take a 2-2 1/2 in dia rubber or silicone hose. anyone have any idea where i could get something to fit that. its for an 89 550
i just replaced the rings head gasket and base gasket. i took it out and it runs for a bit then quits and im left dead in the water.... literally. any ideas
when i give my ski full throttle it goes but when im at mid throttle i have a lot of bogging and its very unresponsive until i open it again. it seems like its an on off switch.
inside i found a screen filterlike object that was broke. im thinking that the broken parts inside blocked the fuel flow and thats what caused skipper fo conk out.
my other question is can i replace it with this?
i just got my 550 ignition box and it looks like i need to wire it in myself, can anyone post a pic or write up a diagram of which wires go where. any help would be appriciated.
my friend and i started working on my 550 today to see why it wouldn't start. we opened up the electrical box and all this brown and orange water poured out.
and here is what the inside looked like...
Thespleen
now i have a fire extinguisher cap and i can use that area to put the keys to my womans really expensive pick-up truck instead of trying to craftily hide them somewhere.
