Can anyone tell me if you need to use a return line restrictor in blackjacks? I'm having a really hard time getting it fine tuned and I'm not sure if this is the problem or not.

Motor is a 650 with a west coast pipe, ocean pro head, and SBN carb. the needle and seat is 120. With a 90 gram spring I have a few different size jets. What size should i be using? and about how many turns will get me started?
