So then what is the best year to look for? (i want a round nose) and what are some good/bad things to look out for when buying a used ski? what are some of the mods i should do first? should i buy one close to stock or one that is already modified?

no i don't have a ski allready! so would it be cheaper to buy a full ski and mod it out or would buying a hull and motor be cheaper?

this will probably be a project when i get out of basic and AIT so my price rang is up to $10000 but i don't want to spend that much i was thinking some thing that i could use on a lake and something i can do free style with! i would say about 3 to 4 grand!
