Ponce inlet just south of Daytona is good for couches. Show up for the Daytona ride and you can ride Ponce to get your fix and then come watch the action at the ride and become a convert.

Be careful. Don't drive the bolts into the flywheel too far when removing it. You'll be buying a new stator if you do. That's an expensive mistake that is very easy to make.

I'd avoid cabosil like the plague. For general use, you'll never tell a difference if you use microballoons to install footholds instead of using cabosil. The only difference you'd see is if you got sloppy and had to do a little sanding.
