The haze and then late-day sunlight didn't help either. The photogs were smart about where to set up to avoid that, whereas personally, I was where I could hear the announcing.

Pismo seemed more disconnected than Lanier. It may be just my impression, but we (from Texas and Colorado) were talking and felt that Pismo may turn out to be bigger, but there less of a family gathering about it that Lanier has... I dunno. I haven't been to a Daytona ride. can someone please...
